Wheel question, probably asked before...
I used to work on trucks and such, but it's been years. I just bought a 2011 JK and was looking at the Pro Comp 7005 rims. Would these work without having to worry about spacers/rubbing? Is the offset okay?
18x9 wheel size
5x5.5 bolt pattern
0mm offset
5" backspacing
I plan on running Mickey T Baja ATZ Radial 305/70R18 & a 2.5 - 3" lift

The standard answer to this question is for 18x9 wheels you should go no more than a 4.75 backspace which is a -6offset. I have this configuration albeit not installed yet. There was a recent post where someone took pictures of their rig with this same wheel spec and proved there is a lot of room left. They experience no rubbing. If you actual tire width exceeds 12.5 inches than maybe you'll have a problem but at 12.5 inches you should be fine. I plan on being the second guy to prove the max 4.75 BS limit to be BS. Lol

I have a Sahara which has stock 18" rims, can I drop down to a 17" and still clear the brakes?

My thoughts exactly. Cheaper is better, but I know sometimes you can't go smaller without having problems like the wheel not fitting over the rotors/brakes. If a 17" fits then I'm ordering this setup this week.

I have a '08 2dr. Sahara, I had 18" rims and went to Pro Comp 7069 (17x9 with 4.75 backspacing) and have all the clearance needed without spacers.
