Default wheel questions

So im looking to get 35's and I know it's been discussed a lot but bear with me.

What exactly do I need? From what I've read I would need a 2" BB and a 1" BL right? I'm on limited funds so would that be cheaper than a 3" lift?

Should I get new shocks with the BB? What brands (wheels, tires, lifts...) do you guys recommend?

What backspacing do I need? I want a wide tire...

what exactly is bead lock? Do I need it?

I have a stock 2dr X....

You could run 35s with a 2.5" BB like the TeraFlex Jeep JK Wrangler 2.5" Budget Boost
and with out a body lift. You don't need bead locks and your tire and wheel choice should be what you like. If you get wheels with less than 5" of backspacing you shouldn't have any problems with tires

So would I need new shocks? Are the shock extensions safe/recommened?

With a stock X would I have to regear? Can someone point me to a thread where I can learn about gears and why people regear?

Lastly (i think), should I base my wheels of my tires or tires off of the wheels? I.e. look for what first? tires or wheels
