Default wheel rub

Okay, so i just installed pro comp 152 series wheels that are 15"x10" with 3.75" backspacing. With general grabber 33"x12.5". The tires fit and dont rub yet , that im aware of. But when i first pulled out of my driveway and drove down the street i heard a nasty scraping sound. I pulled over after about a mile, and saw that the caliper was rubbing the back of the wheel. I could see the freshly shaved metal of the caliper.
Not the typical part of the caliper that everyone is afraid of rubbing. Its the "face" part. And its only the front two wheels only. When i started driving back home, the noise stopped.
Is this something that happens frequently? Ever happen to anyone else? Is it fine now that it shaved enough away or is it a problem?
Like i said, it was only the front two wheels. Not the rear. Why? Everything is installed correctly. ?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ps-i bought themfrom 4wd .com, and i would not recommend that company.

I'm not a big fan of putting 15 inch wheels on a jeep, just my opinion. The problem your having is somewhat common with 15 inch wheels, you going to have to grind down your calipers a little to make clearance.

I don't know whether this is a concern, but grinding away at your calipers will probably invalidate your warranty, not to mention may make your JK unsafe. I've heard of guys having issues downsizing to a 16" with the 2011. If the reason for downsizing was to save money on tires, the alternative would be to buy a cheaper steel wheel, and stay with the 17 inch tire.

i went down to a 15" wheel and 33" tire cause i wanted the "lots of rubber" look. i read on 4wd's website from a customer review that my specific wheel fit with no rubbing issues.. cleared the calipers and all. so that sold it, for me.
if i would've know this issue beforehand, i would've just gotten the 16".

from what i'm hearing, and from what i'm reading online, it looks like it happens to quite a lot of people, and either they let it wear down till it doesn't rub anymore, or they grind it down a hair.

I totally understand. Trying to piece all of this together, mixing and matching, gazillions of websites, who to trust at those websites....gets messy. Then I have to pass muster with the wife...and she's waaaaaay more choosey than I am.
