ok i got these 33in tires but it only 15 in rim size you think they would work on my 07 Wrangler... thanks guys

 

yes, but you need to make sure that the 15" wheel will clear your brakes. a lot of steel wheels seem to work out fine.

 

X2 on the clearing of the brake calipers. Tight fit.

 

I was wondering this too...I love the look of 35's on 15 in. Wheel but I don't want to run into any issues....so if I get a 15x8 wheel w/ 3.75 in. Backspacing I should be free and clear of the caliper??

 

Do a search here and you will find the right backspacing.

There are some big advantages to 15 inch rims.

First is the cost of the tires themselves. For some reason (demand?) 17 and 18 inch tires are much more expensive.

Second is the sidewall flex. When airing down for offroading, 15 inch rims will allow much lower air pressures than larger rims. I have 33s on 17 inch rims, and if I air down lower than 15 psi, I will end up changing tires on the trail because I get rocks or dirt in the bead and lose air. 15 psi will not let me run in loose sand. Just digs in. on the rocks 15 psi is barely adequate. I would like to be around 8 or 10psi.

They can be a little squishier on the highway, but I wish I had 16 or even 15 inch rims, and may go down in size because of the sidwall flex. I will most likely keep my 17 inch rims and go to 35s, which will help, and they look cool.
