Default Wheel Spacers

Good Morning everyone, just a quick question. I'm thinking about putting 1" spacers on my 2011 JK. I plan on keeping the 17" wheels and factory tires on it, but am not sure how it will look. Would a 1" spacer give it the wide stance look, or would I get covered in road grime/grit/mud/ice/snow? Its Oklahoma, 3degrees one day 60's the next!!!

Thanks everyone, and if you've added spacers to yours without upgrading new tires and wheels could you post a pic of how it looks, and your opinion of them.

Thanks

I put Spyder co's on mine (1 1/2") - fills out the wheel wells very nicely- now it doesn’t look like a bi-plane from the rear anymore. They're all made from aluminum. Just be sure to keep them torqued and check them every 5-10k miles.

I have 1.5 inch spider trax wheel spacers on my 2010 with 17 inch stock wheels. It looks so much better. It brings the wheels and tires flush with the fenders... Not sticking out. Go 1.5. Also I have had no issues with mud or road debris.

Here's a pic of mine with TeraFlex spacers which are 1.25 inches with the stock rims and BFG KM tires.

Forgot to answer your other question... With the spacers on I haven't noticed any additional salt, rocks mud, etc flying than without the spacers. As you can see from the pic with my set up the tires are still within the flares.

I have 1.5 spacers on mine and very little kick-up on the doors. I am running km2's. It is a great look. Just dont do cheap spacers. Plus check them every oil change.

You can definitely tell the difference with the spacers. Can't give an opinion of your ice, snow, or road grime situation though living in SD. These are 1.33" spacers from rugged ridge

The spacers listed above all have two sets of bolts. (spacer bolts to wheel studs, rim bolts to spacer). Running the thin type that sandwich on the stock studs are generally considered to be unsafe. I haven't seen any 1" spacers with 2 sets of bolts, so just a heads up.

So is anyone running spacers like these?

If the two sets of bolt style spacer is preferred, what is the minimum width of a spacer made for the JK 5 on 5"?

thanks-

Or these Eibach spacers look to be just under 1"
