Default Wheel Spacers

Hi all, I'm about to order some wheel spacers to stop the wheel rub. I have stock 17"s wrapped with 33" duratracs. Should I go with 1.25" spacers or 1.5". Pics would be great

unless you're willing to do some grinding of the wheel studs, you will want to get 1.5" spacers.

My 1.25" spacers fit, no problem, didn't have to touch the studs.

you sure? the reason why the 1.5" came out is because there were people who thought their suds cleared but didn't - just by a little mind you but enough to prevent a perfectly flush fit. over time, this caused failures - there have been quite a few incidents of this.

Yeah totally, bought them from All Pro Off Road, another forum member told me about them a while back, so I bought em. I had them installed by evo initially and have had several inspections by Americas Tire Co since and no issues

ok, good to hear, just trying to help prevent any potential problems. being that we're just talking about 1/4" of an inch, i typically just recommend the 1.5" spacers just for good measure.

I went with 1.5" spacers, I was also told that I would have to shave my studs down if going with a smaller spacer which I didnt want to do any of that. 1.5" for a perfect fit and you will not notice 1/4" more of your wheels sticking out than with the smaller. Definitely not something you want to go cheap on.
