Default wheel spacers

I'm sure this has been covered but after researching and getting conflicting answers, i figured Id just ask. I have 15' jk unlimited sport. I just ordered XD rockstar 2 wheels 18x9 backspace=5 offset=0 with toyo open country mt's. I also have a teraflex 2.5 budget boost with shock adapters waiting to be put on. Question is do i put the lift on first?....will the stock wheels and tires be ok until my new wheels and tires come in?..I've heard you need spacers...or do i put the new wheels and tireson then put the BB on? Any help would be appreciated....obviously I'm new to this..thanks

If you put lift on first, Stock tires and wheels will be fine and you won't need wheel spacers. Where you will run into trouble is putting the bigger tires on without the lift.

That was my original plan until i read that i needed the spacers. I'm glad that i will not need them. I'll be putting the lift on tomorrow and I'll only have to wait until Wednesday for the wheels and tires. Thanks

You would only need spacers if you were putting the bigger tires on the stock rims. Good luck with your Jeep!

Way back when, people were having problems with the new rear swaybar links contacting the stock rims.

It has been quite a while since I last saw a post on it, but the temporary fix was maybe to flip the bolt around backward? Or to install the links outside of the brackets instead of on the inside? Anyway, not a huge problem, just look at the clearance when you put the tires back on to make sure they clear.

I had to flip my swaybar links when I installed my TF 2.5 coil lift.

I have spacers now, so it is not an issue and I have since flipped them back.

So i installed the budget boost and the rear sway bar links rubbed my stock wheels. I had to flip them to the inside. Teraflex is confusing.....their instructions say put them on the outside....but if you watch the teraflex install video the put them on the inside...so which is it Teraflex?
