i'm new to all this so this may seem like a dumb question but here it goes anyway, i am going to lift my jk and put bigger tires on my stock rims, i know that i need spacers on the front to do this but are they also needed on the rear wheels?

actually, if anything, you need wheel spacers in the rear as without them, your sway bar links ends will dig into the sidewalls of your rear tires. however, you really want to have spacers both front and rear. this way, your axles will be of even width.
