Does anyone have a problem with wheel spacers? Are they OK? Are they bad?

 

I have had mine for 5k miles, no issues. Others on here have had them for 20-30k miles with no issues. I have only heard of two failures (both on this forum) and both were traced back to improper instilation, not a failure in the product. Spidertax seems to be the favorite with TeraFlex second and a few others of mention.

 

I have the spyder trax spacers with no probs. A few words of advice... do not over tourque and do not cheep out on these!!!

 

i've had my spidertax 1.5" spacers on for 8000-9000km and zero problems so far very happy with them

 

I've had my Spydertrax for over 20,000 and no problems yet.

I'm going with spacers myself. I prefer steel though so there's no other option for but Teraflex.

 

I've had my spacers now for 30,000 miles plus and no problems I have retorqued them once because the tires were off and I figured why not. Other than that they have been awesome. There is also someone selling a brand new set of spacers here on the forum for 175.00 not bad. If you also feel a little funny abou them quadratec will sell them to you and if you don't like them they will take them back within like 30 days. Thats because of Spidertrax themselves. To me that sells themselves.

 

I'm with Redneck on this subject and wanted good ol' steel so I went with the Teraflex. They are rock solid and no problems at all. I used some blue threadlocker and torqued them down to 100ft. lbs.
