Default wheel spacers?

I was talking with a local who has a lifted Toyota P/U. He is using 1/2 inch steel spacers on his combo with the stock wheels/ studs. I just picked up 305/70/17 Goodyear MTR's from a fellow JK'er and am building everything on a budget.
Now has anyone tried these spacers or think they would be safe. ive seen several people use them on drag cars to center the rears in their tubs and would think a 600hp drag car with 456 gears and 14 inch wide slicks, holds up using this type of spacer, they would work; however, I run around town with my 3 month old son in the jeep( precious cargo).
So would these work, at what spacing?
Any thoughts suggestions?

My concern would be the studs snapping since you would be using less of the stub.

You need longer studs, that said, I only trust spidertrax where you have studs on the spacer.

Pretty much knew the answer but, was looking into every option before I let the cash go. I know anything safe is worth spending the cash on.

Afew people have had vibe issues with the RC's, some have not. No one on here has had issues with the spidertrax.

I have not heard about these vibe issues... If anyone has a defective wheel spacer, we will replace it.

Once you get your 34s mounted lets see pics and also let us know if you have any rubbing.

Default No rubbing

So I had one mounted on the spare and test fitted it without a spacer and everything looked good. went back with the other four and now they are all on, no spacers about a 7/8 inch clearance on the rear upper control arms and minimal rubbing on front at full steer. They fit under the fenders and I am very pleased with the overall look of my jeep.(except for bumpers and other accessories.) Pictures will be coming as soon as I take some.
