Default Wheel Stud replacement question

OK. Rotated my tires a few days ago.... noticed a couple of my wheel studs were looking pretty rashed out....

Anyone have a write up or know how to change these out without taking it to the stealership or some other shop? I have seen posts on the net of "just banging them out" im sure there is more to it than that......

Something I can do in my driveway? In a day? it is my DD.... so cant be out of commision for long....

I did search for any kind of write up before I posted this..... couldnt find anything.....

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I took mine to Pep Boys and had 2 studs replaced on 2 different wheels. Charged me $20 and 30 minutes of my time.

RedneckJeep's instructions sound very easy too.

My illustration, of course, takes for granted the removal of the caliper.
