FYI... I'm running 16x8 ProComp Rock Crawlers with 4.25" BS and 285/75 BFG M/T's and I rub when I am fully stuffed. I dont have a lift but a 3/4" coil spacer to even out the rake. Everybody seems to say you can fit 33's stock, but you cant. Well, I should say that you cant if you wheel and stretch out the suspension. This setup will work fine temporarily, but it needs a lift...

cant beat paying $40 a piece for a steel rim(15in). theyre durable and if u smack it up you wont feel that big of a hit replacing it.

I've seen guys paint their alloys and actualy look better than aftermarket.

As for the AT mpg, stay with a directional pattern, like MT Baja ATZ, Pro Comp Xtreme AT, or Nitto & Toyo AT's.
The BFG's and General type tread pattern will cause more rolling resistance thus reducing your fuel mileage.

( That is old technology anyway, you'll get a smoother ride and longer treadlife from the new tread patterns.
sorry, thats my opinoin, I know guys love their BFG's )

Another factor is the size. the 33" dia is ok, but the width will hurt you. I hate to sound like a dork but the wider
the tire the more resistance you will have. Try to stay with a 285/70 or 295/70.
Hell even a 75 series if you could stand it.

OR JUST SAY "TO HELL W/ IT" AND PUT ON 35" KM2's

check this out 1.75 Daystar BB and 295/70 Terra Grapplers

HappyCurmudgeon has a sweet setup too w/ a 2" lift and 33"s

But for me . . . screw the mpg's it'll be 2.5 and 35's

{Rooster... your Jeep Is awesome}

but i like a stock look, jbmoto & cam813 hit the nail on the head

I have the Generals; so far, so good. Like the MO guy said, they clean-out surprisingly well. I went from a muddy patch on a hill straight to a sloping rock and scampered on up.
My opinion is that they're the low-budget winner for an all-around tire.
