anyone has any issues running a 12.5" tire on and 8" rim...most tire brands recommend a 8.5" rim...i know a lot of people run this tire on an 8" (including me)...just wondering if anyone has had issues....

 

I don't run that tire but I haven't heard of any issues with it on a 8" rim. I have heard that you will cause your tires to wear out faster and I'm sure you'd get a better ride with a wheel that is designed for your size tire. Buy some wheels, they are cheap compared to tires!

 

i have a similar question. Im about to purchase some wheels for my 14.5 ssr super swampers. It says on the tires i should be using 12" wide wheels??? that just seems like really wide wheels to me, plus where am i going to find wheels that wide for a jk???? so im going to go with 10" wide instead. Already found the wheels I want. Hoping I dont have any issues though
