Default wheelin disconected

i have RC quick discos and i have never disconected my front end. I have an OME 2inch lift with 35inch tires and i am about to install a 1.25 RC body lift. What else do i have to do to wheel disconected and not damage-stress anything? Is it ok to disco a D30 front axle with 35s?

after you disconnect, make sure to attach your links to the storage pins if you have them or strap them up to your frame. idealy, you want the in the horizontal position and not all the way up as the links can make contact with your tire sidewalls when flexed out and turning.

if you have enough droop, your boot will still tear as it catches the lip of your tranny sump pan. this will even occur if you have NO skid plate. being that the OP is just going to run a 2" OME kit, he shouldn't need to do anything if he's installing the shocks that come with it. the ome shocks are short enough that they will act as limiting straps.

6-speeds don't have front drive shaft issues. you will be fine.
