Default Wheels and Lifts and Tires

I have a 2007 JK Unlimited, 4 door that came with a 2" Skyjacker Budget Boost. I just ordered the TeraFlex leveling kit, which claims to add about one inch to the rear and 2 inches up front...if I recall properly.

Question is, with that set up, what is the biggest tire I can run? Would a 35" fit or would that be a headache with rubbing and such? Going to be getting some Soft 8 16" wheels. Tires are too expensive with my current 18" wheels. If it makes a different, I don't really wheel much at all. She's mostly a mall krawler/lot queen.

Thanks for the help

Thumbs up

a 35" may rub if you start to get into offroading hardcore, but the occasional offroad trip you should be fine without rubbing.

Good choice in the Teraflex leveling kit.

Thanks Colt, appreciate both replies. Surfing is my thing, but I enjoy the occasional fire road with my mall queen...haha.

Is the Teraflex leveling kit pretty easy to install? I own a screwdriver and some electrical tape. Good to go?

I just installed the teraflex leveling kit a couple weeks ago and there's really not much to it. A few hours and you're good to go. I do recommend a spring compressor tho

Rubbing shouldn't be a problem

Got mine TF Leveling Kit installed on a lift (Thanks Epic Addictions!), and there was enough droop to pop in the springs with very little hassle. I'd also recommend spring compressors if you're installing on jack stands.
