Default Wheels for my JK...

So I realize this have been beaten, whipped, killed, reserected, beaten, whipped and killed again.... so SORRY...

My wife and I decided that since our chevy is just about outta warranty we're just gonna trade it off... prolly on another Jeep, and before anyone says anything, I tried to get another JK and, well it ain't gonna happen!

But anyway, I currently have 315/70R17 Hankook Dynapro RT03's on my chevy with a set of American Racing Dominator wheels...see attached. My question is:

I am pretty sure they are a 17X9 with a -12 offset, 4.5" backspacing and are running a 6X5.5 bolt pattern. I know I can get converters for the bolt pattern, how is the offset and backspacing going to effect things. The converts exted about 1.75" as well. thanks in advance guys.

Only problem is they are chrome...but I can live with that if they're running 35's!

IMO 4.5" backspace with 1.75" spacers are gonna stick out pretty far, at least for the stock flares. If you go with a larger flare like the bushwacker flares it would probably be perfect.

What about selling the wheels off and getting some JK specific wheels to use with those tires?

I thought of that as well...but selling anything around here is like donating it to good will...you pretty much have to give it away! What is the back spacing on the stock wheels?

I have 1.5" spidy trax on there now with 11.5" wide wheels and they aren't that bad. Just a little bit outside the flares!

Oh sorry guys....I will be upgrading my lift as well... I have a 1.75" now, prolly gonna run at least a TF 2.5" with shocks...minimum. My boss @ work just bought a 2 dr JK and I'll prolly install the 1.75" and 33's on his for him.
