Default Wheels & Tires

Noobie here...so take it easy on me!

Just purchased a 2010 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited, which I love so far. I am looking to replace the stock wheels and tires, but need some help as far as size. I don't plan on putting any type of lift on it anytime soon so I am trying to figure out what the largest size tire I can get with 18 inch wheels OR 20 inch wheels (if possible with out looking ghetto)!

I appreciate everyone's help!

Unless you're going to a 40+ inch tire, why would you want a 20" rim for anything other than the 'bling' factor?

Sure, 20's add a good look. But when you combine it with a great lift and tires there are no limits !!!!

I appreciate your opinions, but was looking for more technical advice. I didn't say I wanted 20's (I am not into the bling - especially on a jeep), but was looking for more spec info. If I was to go with an 18 inch wheel then what size tire could I go with - without rubbing, without a lift (for now), etc?

Thank you.

I think without a lift the 20's are unlikely. I am no expert - so I will defer to others that have more knowledge but in my search I was told that with my stock 18's the biggest tire i could squeeze in there was a 275/70/18 but that there could be some rubbing. Thats just slightly larger then the 255/70/18 it comes with. The concensus was to try to stick with a 265/70/18 or a 275/65/18. On a 20 inch rim, you would have to go with like a 255/50 or a 265/45 which is going to be pretty urban looking.
