Now im not an expert, but from what i understand at least on the 4dr. You dont have to have new driveshafts when you lift the jeep 4inch, well at least not right away. I remeber reading on jpmagazine website that the last year for solid axle grand cherokees had a drive shaft similar to ours. They lifted it something lift 3 or 4 inches. I believe that got some pretty good use outa the driveshaft before it went. So i think if you dont wheel them to hard i think they might last awhile before they wear out. But then im no expert

I have not seen a single example of a JK driveshaft failure yet...anybody got something for us? Before I go spending $1100 on driveline, I'd like to know I'm solving a problem. With the TJ you were battling vibrations and slip-yoke separation with 2-3" of lift. I'm suspect of the slip length and the strength of the CV joints, but with a fixed yoke and CVs do we really have a problem with 4" or less lift - especially with the 4 door?

First off, holy long signature Holland. Secondly, I agree with JKRUBI, I think we need to give it some time and see if in fact the stock one will not last. So far I haven't seen one yet.
