I put in the new Daystar upper dash panel, and while pulling the old panel off both the metal clips that hold it on pulled off and fell into the dash somewhere...so those are gone now. Anyone know what part number those clips are or how I can find out, or where I can get them?

Try looking at your local parts store for the section that has the "HELP" products, and you will find a lot of those types of hard to find automotive fasteners. I also noticed the other day while shopping at Lowes that they have some automotive type fasteners.

For sure the dealer will want $5 a piece for a 30 cent part. LOL

 

Yeah I was just at the stealership and he couldn't find them, said they arnt sold separately.

I am looking for these too. I only need 1, but i would like to get a box to hook up the guys at the shop that put my JK together. Dealership, no. Parts store had similar, but they were to small. any ideas?

i looked up and down that site. They have the small ones, but not the longer ones, which the day star panel requires. The smaller ones don't keep it tight.

i will look again.

This is the clip i'm looking for. It's longer than the others, and the bend is farther back than the rest of the clips, ie on the GPS panel.


I found this little guy, but he's not big enough.
