Default Where does the AEV Procal mount ??

Looks like the AEV Procal mounts on the dash down low, left of the steering wheel. Is this where it stays or does it get removed once programming is done?
If it stays there, how the hell can you not knock into it w/ your knee?? Can you buy a remote cable or something to hide it under the dash?

It is only there during programming and is removed the rest of the time.

Yep, the only time you leave it in is when you want to use the idle speed increase feature for winching.

Yep, what they said.

Set it.
Plug it in to the port by your left knee.
Horn honks to let you know it worked.
Turn ignition off.
Unplug.

Leave it in for idle speed and steering wheel centering until you are finished.

You can pick one up from REI or similar outdoor store. Or ebay.
