Default Where to get tires

Jeepers,
I've been eyeing 4wd.com like a hawk lately looking to snag a deal on some new 35's for my Rubi. I get back from a certain dump of a central Asian country in a few days and I left my rig behind 8 months ago in desperate need of new rubber (55K miles on my stock BFG's).

Anyone know where else I can look?

Discount tire...sometime online you can save a few bucks, then there is tire rack.com... I have seen great deals on there but personally have never delt with them. Hope this helps a little.

You could also look at rimzoneonline . com I've been looking at some of their tire and wheel packages and they also have an eBay store if you like that

Got mine from 4WD.com and couldn't be happier. They gave me a discount for being a forum member and the tires already had a 10% off discount on them. Mounted and balanced and at my door 2 days after placing the order. Plus got the lifetime guarantee with them too which is pretty nice if I ever utilize it. But that's the only site I've dealt with. Goodluck!

I got my KM2s from Costco. I couldn't find anyone around that could beat their price.

I didn't get my tires from them, but I will serisously consider them on the next set.

I was in their shop yesterday and I was told the same thing. LIFETIME guarantee. I said, you mean road side assitance...I get a nail, you plug it. The manager said, no....On the trail, side pucture blowout and you get a free replacement....lifetime, no questions asked. Added, "we are in the offroad business and we know exactly where the customer is gonna take these tires."

Of course I'm gonna do more research, but that is a pretty big waranty

I agree. That sounds almost too good to be true. What happens when they just get old and bald...it happens to all tires sooner or later!

Very true. Worth looking into. Maybe something to the effect of 'the rated milage life of the tire.' so if it is rated for 60k, anything before then they replace.
