Default where is the power hiding??

hey, just bought a 2008 jk and love it. the only complaint i have is the gutless range around 100km/h (60mph) ( 3:21 gears), does a cold air intake make a difference in this area?

mine is an 09 with 3.21 gears.. the fact is at 60 MPH you are under the power band of the engine so it will be very gutless... esp on hills..

I end up downshifting to 5th to put the revs up north of 2000 and it feels better...

You can regear your diffs to bring up your RPM's more inline with the power curve. If you plan on getting bigger tires, you will definatly want to do this.

3.21 are dogs with 35" tires and barely acceptable with 32" tires, these are mostly highway gearing. I did 4.88 and really like the power and performance.
