Best bang for buck is lift and rims and tires. If your not ready for that yet then start on bumpers or something.

x2 on that...I started with a bumper...tinted the front windows...then lift and now rims and tires in the next couple weeks. In the meanwhile I recommend you go to ebay and type "jeep wrangler jk" into the search bar and start browsing. Add all the cool shit you want to hook onto your jeepmobile to your watch list and check that stuff off one by one. Thats how its done.

Start small with things you will use everyday. Dress it up a little, floor mats, trim pieces, etc. Bumpers and leveling kits aren't too expensive either, if you mind what you are doing. A nice lift, tires, and rims will set you back some major $. You might luck up and find a set of Rubi take offs pretty cheap. Don't rush into something - "Good things come to those who wait."

Remember Craigslist is your friend! I have bought a Sahara take offs, Lift kit, both Front and rear bumpers off there for much lower then you can buy any place else.

Unfortunately for your cash strapped situation, nothing makes a jeep look sweeter than a larger set of tires. However, because the JK is so well designed you can fit some fairly large meats in those wheel wells without a lift so there is some money savings right there. Look for a set of used 33"s-35"s, even on stock wheels it looks cool and you get that awesome lifted, riding high feeling.

Most of us on here arent rich if you look around on the forum you can find cheap cool shit to do while your saving for bigger mods..i.e blackout the lights...bedline the hardtop/grill/whatever. I am putting 3m carbon fiber tape on mine...gonna run me 80-100 bucks for all of it. Most of my mods have been spaced out over a few pay checks. Dont run yourself into debt..get that ebay watch list full and SLOWLY check it off over a few months.
