Default whicha place i set this thing?

ok.. i have the 4" RC lift.. i have read some things around the forum about setting your caster to like 6 degrees.. and close to that.. but the dealership set mine to 3.5 degrees.. any tips or hints?

Guessing you got the cheap lift with the Cam Bolts? If so, the steps for adjustment will be slightly different, but you can still use that write-up as a guide...

Like the previous OP posted its very easy if you follow the write up.


Do you have adjustable control arms with that lift?

as full-traction said, you can only set your caster if you got adjustable control arms with your kit. but then, if you don't have them, your dealer wouldn't have been able to do anything. also, stock caster is +4.2°. if your dealer did set your caster, i wonder why they would have reduced it. you would have been better off just leaving things where they were.

i have cam bolt.. and they pulled it to about 3.5 i think..
