Default Who has AEV Chrome Bridger Wheels?

I have a 2008 Wrangler X 4 Door. I feel the Red Rock Crystal needs some jazzing up. I'm planning on buying the AEV 16 x 8 Chrome Bridger wheels and have some questions & help......

1. *It sure would be helpful to obtain pics of these wheels on various JK's. If pics are available, you can send them to me directly at: vickers303@comcast.net

2. *Has anyone had problems with the AEV wheel finishes, whether it be chrome or other?

3. My rig is stock and currently running stock 17 x 7.5 polished wheels with 255/75/17 tires. I don't plan on lifting the Jeep, but will increase my tire size to perhaps 285/16's.

4. *If I change the wheel and tire sizes will the TPM sensors be an issue? Or will they function as though nothing was changed?

5. *Has anyone had a problem when going from a 17" wheel to a 16" ?

Many thanks for listening and I look forward to your HELP!

AEV doesn't sell chrome.
The TPM sensor will not be an issue.
Rim size will not create an issue until you get to a 15in rim, and then it is just a clearance issue.

There is some good info on the FAQ for wheels, check it out.

Yes, AEV sells the Bridger wheel only in 16 x 8 size wheels either in
chrome, argent, or silver. Check out their company site, as well as, Quadratec's site.
The chrome is a bit $$. Their other wheels are 17" Pintler's or Pintler Beadlocks.

Interesting, I have seen the silver and the argents, but can't say I've ever seen them on a rig in chrome.

I know what you're saying about the " CHROME " thing! As I said the Red Rock Crystal color needs some accenting and the AEV silver Pintler wheels would be too much like the stock polished 17-inch wheels I'm currently running. I also like the MT wheels, but wonder about the finish.............are Mickey Thompson's clear-coated? I really want something that is clear-coated.

As far as I know the MTs are a raw polished aluminum finish. Its a pain to keep clean in the winter and the road salt pits the hell out of them.

Yes, but if you read the web site they only come in HUMMER bolt pattern.....O nevermind I fell asleep at work and was "wishful dreaming" ormaybe it was a nightmare

I guess they could maybe look good on a red-rock JK and if you want it ,it is your Jeep so go for it. But I promised my JK I would never subject it to Chrome, and never call it a "car". In return it promised to take care of me on the trails and we have been best buds ever since!!
