Default Who has experience with the hypertech tuner?

Ive heard that superchips offers a more aggressive tune that will make more power, but I really like the new features available with the hypertech tuner ( full locker/e-disco control). How is hypertech's tune power wise? I am about to pull the trigger on it and Im looking for some reviews.

P.S. Ill have a 2007-2010 procal available for sale if I go through with the purchase.

I went ahead and ordered it. Well see how it goes. I will either have a pro cal for sale or a hypertech tuner for sale based on how i like it.

Here is a link to a discussion of the impending software update by Hypertech and the testing outcome of the beta users. I have been using the Hypertech tune in my 2008 JK for over a year...

My experience with the hypertech on my 07 was that it adjusted the speedo for the tire size, and it held the shifts to a higher rpm so that it stayed in the power band longer. Didn't really add any power or mpg.

We have the highest horse and torque gains under 2,000 rpm when comparing all brands. The SC and our power curves are identical in the higher rpm.

The shifting at higher rpm is related to the speedo correction. The early shifting is caused because your vehicle computer was programmed for smaller diameter tires. MPG gain? When running aftermarket size tires without correcting the speedo the odometer is off as well. The only way to test apples to apples is use the programmer to correct tire size and leave the engine tune stock for a comparison.

Call me if you have any issues nine zero one-481-5120 my cell : )

I bought it for the throttle response feature. It makes a world of difference in how the engine responds to skinny pedal input. This feature alone is worth it. You have the ability to turn off TPMS, change throttle response, change axle ratio, tire size, etc.
I have noticed the speedometer is not very accurate (off by 4mph per my GPS), even after changing my axle ratio and tire size, and some knocking at partial throttle. The knocking happens intermittently, and is very mild.

I think SC touts 1-2 more hp and 1-2 more torque. this is not enough to really feel.

What tips the scales to me, besides the features of the Hypertech, is that Hypertech has some pretty incredible customer service. Quite honestly one of the best experiences I've had.
