This is getting a bit frustrating.....

I picked up my Rubicon Unlimited a month ago - within a few days I had most of the upgrades ready to go-
Pro Comp 35's-
Lift
Lights and brackets

BUT - - Wheels availability has been an issue!! I know that Pro Comp has a few designs available as does American Racing BUT WHO ELSE???

 

I feel your pain man - the lack of wheels have been preventing me from getting my new 35's. But, from what 4WD has told me, they should be coming in this week.

 

Boy......I just spent 2 hrs at the local tire shop buying wheels/tires. Ordered Maxxis Buckshots (315/75R-16) and then started the ordeal of finding wheels. Everything we tried was either backordered to infinity, discontinued, or only had 4 left with a 6-8 week wait on the 5th. FINALLY found a set of American Racing Mojave's (16x8 4.5BS) that will be here tomorrow!! Dear Lord I sure am glad I'm off today......I need a drink now!

 

I think half the people on this forum have wheels backordered at Pro Comp!!
4wd.com is saying mine will ship at the end of the month.

 

Ultra has a few, and Moto Metal should have a few out shortly, if not already. What are you looking for (Size, Steel, Aluminum, Chrome, black, etc.)?

 

Got my wheels from Offroadtoystore.com who I believe got them from 4wheelparts. I have 16x8 Pro Comp 7289's. Call or email the major places and they will track down some wheels for you if they can.

 

i ordered my procomp 8179 (16 x 8) wheels from 4WD last thrusday (3/15), and they said that Procomp is expecting to have this end first week of April. Hopefully i can get my wheels by then

 

Yeah got Black steelies from summit within 4 days or ordering them. Cheeper then everywhere else I looked too.

Rim choice is defenitely lacking though.

 

I had the Sahara 18's but instead got a set of take off Rubi's....had them powdercoated and they look as good as the new AEV Pinter non beads....

I got tired of waiting like everyone else...and saved a little in the process even after adding powdercoating and spacers..

 

Check with eagel wheels Ive got a set of series 187 on there way. Should be getting to me in about two weeks. Same time as my 3" full traction premium kit.
