I know a few sites and companies that carry or make them, but $180 sounds kinda high.

Vector Offroad makes a sweet looking setup. It is a table that you can also use to store some gear. Click image for larger version

Off Road rail Tools make the best one I could find. Here's mine:

You can get the non-power coated version for $149 at the moment!!

i personally prefer the Vector as it looks like you can use it with MOLLE attachments.

I like Off Road Evolution's. I have seen some people flip it so it opens down.

We engineered the EVO Trail Table to be more of a work bench than a picnic table.

Made completely from 1/8" steel. Fully welded and boxed corners. Very stong.

It is the full width of the rear tailgate (minus subwoofer area), 348 square inches of working surface.

Dont try this at home...

If you're looking for something simple it would be pretty easy to make one. A piece of aluminum or metal, some hinges and whatever you decide to use for a cable to hold it when open. You can then take the $ you would spend on the tray and put it toward other things. If you don't like it you aren't out much money and can get a nicer one.
