Forgot to mention they also recommended exhaust spacers or replacement front driveshaft. I went with a new front driveshaft as well.

Great that you are happy with the kit you chose. But on the other side of the spectrum, can some one explain how can having a lift kit that uses adjustable control arms sacrifice ride quality? In my previous posts I have used TF & RK lifts on my JKU and never had any complaints with on road DD

The ongoing debate being control arms brackets vs adj control arms in relation to ride quality....Thanks....

Well, without getting into tech (many people here know more than me, and based on my limited knowledge I like TerraFlex and Rock Krawler) I can tell you that I'll NEVER take AEV seriously again after noticing that they did a "product placement promo" on "The Bachelor" last night. I don't mind paying a bit extra for equipment if I think the $$ goes to research, product development and testing, but when a company thinks it's valuable to be featured on a network dating show, well, I'm out!!

I tried Teraflex , and also AEV progressive springs . I've installed a 2 inch AEV and my friend has a complete 3.5!AEV on his 2013 rubi and loves it
I honestly consider next time around doing a set of metal cloak fenders that allow 37's stock and maybe a 2 inch later on.

I put the AEV 2.5 on my JKUR with 285/75R17s. Rides and handles better than stock. I didn't think the kit was expensive and don't have a problem with the brackets. Well engineered package. As other have said... Made in USA!

From my limited knowledge I don't know what's funnier. Aev having a "product placement promo" on "the bachelor" or you watching it.

AEV is the way to go, very nice ride and look great. The guy that said he didn't like to see AEV on tv, does not know how to market. I think it was a very smart move. Think about how many people now know about AEV......

Bolt-on coilovers would be the softest (such as the EVO).
Next - relatively soft coils such as EVO, Full Traction. OME.

In any case, the shocks should be properly valved for the specific coils.

In the majority of complaints about hard suspensions,
(provided that the suspension was properly installed),
the cause is shocks which aren't valved properly.

Default Aev

I run AEV complete kit and like it for the most part, but...I did replace upper and lower control arms in place of the brackets up front.
