whats the widest tire i can fit on a sahara rim

4" over rim width is a rule of thumb, but many are running 12.5" wide tires which is outside that limit...

If u want wide get 14.5 but u need new rims. Get ones that are 45 dollars each like crager and make them 15's. Well worth it. Stock rims suck. I'm using them and wish I went smaller. 17 is to big

i want to go with 14.5in and found out i will need spacers and was also told that with the tire being that wide will be hard on steering components, and want to pull all over the place, still thinking about it though
