Question Will 16x8's fit on a 2012??

I was running 16x8 wheels on my 2007 and was looking to do the same for my 2012 but on all the sites they list 16's as only fitting 2007-2010. Did they change something with the brakes in 2011 that would make 16's not fit? I know the clearance was slim on 16's to begin with but they worked fine back then.

Anyone have any insight into this one?

Local guy just mounted 15x8 wheels (from Discount Tire) on his 2012 after another friend with a new 2012 Rubi mounted a friend's 15x8, and noticed no interference. Not sure about the 16s, but it would make sense that they would not have an issue.

I have no idea for 2012.
But I have 16x8, 4" backspacing on my 2011 and there is no issue.
I think you should be fine on a 2012 too.
