Default will 36s really hurt

ive owned 2 jeeps now and im really getting into trail riding alot, my question is,im running 33 inch tsl's and 2 inch spacer skyjacker lift. i just ordered after market smitty built flares for more clearance, i have a set of new 36 inch tsl's i traded for sitting in the shop. Will the larger tire kill my axles, and power with the weight gain and size diff, im running 4:10 gears

Yes, and yes...

But, manual or auto? Which axles do you have? Will you be upgrading the axles? Are you going to regear?

Look into 'C' gussets. <--- first axle upgrade to consider

And then think about shafts/sleeves/etc.

With 4.10's and a manual, you'll notice the loss of power, but you'll also be much better off than those of us with auto's or lower gearing. (there are lots of posts from people with manuals, 35's and stock gears that say it isn't 'horrible') Should be doable until you get around to gears.

With that light foot of yours and some thought put into the build, you should be fine.

running a 30 in the front c2 gussets from Off Road Evolution are a must very small insurance policy if you plan on keeping that axle

Have checked to see what size these tyres are as I have seen some Interco 36s that were bigger than 37s and some that were smaller than 35s.

I ran 37's with 4.10 gears and a manual. It was fine on the road, other than needing a bit more feathering the clutch to get going. Still, I did get 5.13 gears to get some more low speed power back. That would have sucked horribly with an auto though. I would worry about the d30 front axle with those big tires, unless you baby it off road.
