Will 5" fix this?
Just got my tires mounted on my wheels today. I don't have my lift yet, but I couldn't resist seeing what it was going to look like. I have a 5" trailmaster lift on order, posed to be here monday. I only jacked up the axle, because my jack wouldn't reach the frame to stretch out the stock suspension the 5". so the thing barely fits. the tires are 37x13.50R20 and the wheels are 20x9 with 4 1/2 backspace. seems like an awfully big ass tire to clear with only 5" more

I have a 3" lift with 37's and stock flares. I added some Tera-Flex bumpstop extensions and have no rubbing. I am thinking you will be fine with the 5" kit.
If you do have any rubbing just fine tune it with some additional bump stopping.
Edit... I did have to take a BFH to the rear pinch seam.

I have the Trailmaster 5" lift and 37s, but also have Poison Spyder fenders which are not installed in this pix:

The only issue I see is I may have to do some trimming so the rear tires can come up into the wheel well without rubbing

I had a skyjacker 6"long arm on order. but it was back ordered for 2 weeks. i called about it then they told me it posed to ship in another 2-3 weeks. i said screw that! especially with my tires and wheels sitting there mocking me. so I ponied up another $1500 and got the 5" trailmaster with the drive shafts mainly because it was in stock and shipped immediately.
right click on the image in the links you posted, select "copy image URL" then when typing your message click the "insert image" button and then Ctrl V (paste) it in the box. Make sure it's got a after
by the way, it looks hilarious without the lift

Thanks for the input. It sure doesn't seem like 5" will do it. Which I suppose the new tires are only 2-1/2" larger on the radius, but the lift will add essentially 5" on the radius.
I put a space in the [img] thing so you guys could see its there. If I take out the spaces the text lines disappear, but no picture? maybe are they too big to display? They are less than 200kb, taken with my iphone. wtf?
jeepoholic, i like your tagline. My wife just saw the tires, not on the jeep... she already asked "how much higher is that thing gonna be?" with a disapproving look on her face.
I told her just a peter-length or so... she just rolled her eyes and went on.

all you have to do to fit 37's is have a 4" lift , rear shoter bumper the does not wrap around, stubby front(chop the stock) and trim a small bit of the inner fender. will fit with stock fenders, better to spend money on bumpers instead of fenders.
