Default Will I need Wheel Spacers?

I'm planning on upgrading from LT255/75R17 to LT285/75R17. Will I need wheel spacers to make this new tire size fit my 2011 JKU?

Also, advice between 285/75R17 vs 285/70R17?

Thanks in advance

I have the spacers with 35" tires and they work great. They also make the stance wider so the jeep looks much better to me. I love the wheel spacers. Just my $0.02.

I can't see your profile because of my phone app. Are you running the stock rims still ?

Looking at your wheel setup, I wish i had gone with 15x10 pc 8069's as oppose to my 15x8s. Yours has a wicked stance

Running stock wheels it is advised. You will rub a little as said above if not. I'm running 35's and have the spidertrax spacers with stock wheels. No rub, my $.02.
