Will these wheels with this width and backspacing by okay?

Pro Comp Wheels Part 52-7873F - Series 52 Rock Crawler - Black Steel Wheel

They are 17x8 with 4.25 BS. I have 315/70/17 BFG ATs and a TF 2.5 coil lift on the way. I know they will fit. But I've read here that 17x9 with 4.5 BS will be perfect on a JK with my lift and tire size but the only ones like that available are in gloss black paint. I'd like a flat black powdercoat like the ones in the link come in. Are they going to be any issues with these or will it look funny? I'd rather not settle for something I really don't want.

Thanks,

Nick

Your good to go with either rims. If gloss blacks don't cut it for you , just don't wash them. Or hit them with flat or semi gloss clear coat. Test first on unseen part before you do this.

For AT tires, I'm hearing many good things about Duratracks. Just as good in snow but a more aggressive looking tread. I ran BFG AT KOs years ago on a SUV and did like them, but with the newer treads out there, they to me appear dated. Releasing mud was a slight issue for me.

Hey, thanks for the response. I know both will fit. I was just wondering if the flat black powder coated ones that I like better that are 17x8 with 4.25 BS are going to make a huge difference/cause any problems/look bad rather than the gloss black painted ones that are 17x9 with 4.5 BS. Will I have any issues rubbing or are the chances of losing a bead more likely? And I already have BFG ATs on the way.

The only thing I could see being a issue with I airing down before some off roading but I'm not an expert so I'm sure someone will chime in to correct me.

Gloss or flat is personal preference, no one but you can make the call. Both rims will clear control arms and sway bars as long as your axel is centered. Losing a bead is a combination of too wide a rim in regard to how low the air pressure. Just don't go too low.TF kits have bump stops, so fender rubbing chances are reduced.

Post pics when your done. Some say beer, but I do the hard stuff. Cheers.
