Default Will these wheels work? Liquid Metal Gatlin

I'm ordering 35x12.5x17 BFG KM2 tires and would love to do these wheels.

I'm a bit confused though. They are 17x9 with -10mm of offset. By my calculations that equates to 4.1" of backspace. From the calculation on Mickey Thompson's site... (9 / 2) - (10 * .03937) = 4.1.

For some reason "Discount Tire Direct" in this post https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...6&postcount=20 lists them as 4.6" backspacing.

I know on an 8 inch tire you want 4.5" or less of backspacing. What is the right backspacing for a 9" wheel? Any idea why the calculation comes up with 4.1" and Discount Tire Direct says they are 4.6"?

I just pulled the trigger...

5 wheels, 5 BFG 35x12.50 KM2s, 5 TPMS sensors, stems, black lug nuts, mounted, balanced, delivered to my door for $2195.

Plus there is currently a $70 mail in rebate of BFGs. So $2125 at the end of the day. Thanks discounttiredirect.com!

I found someone else running these.

Default How's the ride?

I was looking at exactly the same setup for my 09 yellow 4dr Rubi. How is the ride and what lift are you running?

FYI...I have a 2.5" Teraflex Coils lift that should be in this week.

Those aren't mine. I just ordered mine this morning. Those pics are of another guy I found on the site running them.

Yeah that spare really puts the difference of the tire size into perspective!
