I want a 2.5BB on a 2 door rubicon with auto trans. Would like to have 35x12.50. with the moto metal wheels 5on5 with 4.5 backspacing. Will I need spacers? What backspacing with out spacers?

Thats perfect, you've done your homework. 4.5 backspacing is just right for 12.5" tires

4.5" backspacing should work just fine to clear everything with the slight exception of your air dam and even then it is a slight rub. 4.5 is a very popular backspacing.

what about 5" backspacing?? i wanna run some 17x9 krager steel wheels with 35's

Guys are running 5"; not sure how much they are rubbing. It would only be at full turn backing out of a parking space, etc. I rubbed at 4.5" on my airdamn but that thing is long gone anyway. Again, that was when backing up at full turn.
