Anyone got any info on Gorilla winches?
Still debating on that or a Smittybiult.
What to do?

I don't know Gorilla but you'll find countless positive threads on the Smittybiilt Winches especially the XRC8. Welcome to the group.

XRC-10 here with synth line, no issues, made several big pulls, no problems other then frying the stock battery and getting new yellow top, i say "no go" on the gorilla

i've heard good about both, and they are about the same price. i'm in the same boat as you, considering the same choices. id like to hear some other opinions as well

I'm not familiar with Gorrila winches, but I've been eyeing the XRC 10 with synth line. Welcome to the forum.

here is one of my pulls, Chevy truck buried in the sand, notice no rear wheels, i didn't have much room myself to make a long pull, but i got him on to some solid ground enough to get out,

Spent most of Saturday winching with by XRC 8 It has been great but if I had to do it again I would get the synth line.

My XRC 10 has been great. It pulls nice, has good speed, and is easy to use. Bonus is you can get a life time warrenty from 4WD (site sponser) on the winch for a little extra $$.
