warn, ramsey or maybe mile marker but never had that brand. all others are a toss of the coin on wether they will work or not. flame me if you want, but i would rather have a m8000 from warren then a bigger winch from one of the other brands.

i have a warren powerplant qurently and am very happy with it. i have freinds with smittybuilts and one of them works the other doesn't.

For a cheap winch, that one is decent. my neighbor has the exact winch on the front of his YJ, and it get used quite a bit, just have patience with it the line speed is slow and you may have to let it cool down if it's a long pull or continued use.

$450 Canadian is about as cheap as I have seen them (Manitoba)

the Amazon price will end up costing you more in the end once you've paid duty, taxes, taxes on the taxes and brokerage fee's

I have a friend who has superwinch and it works great. I have a smittybuilt myself and have had ZERO problems. If u can afford warn than go for it but other brands work as well.

Wow, i bet if you go read that warren winch in your jeep, you will see that the plate really reads WARN.

Dude, go buy it. Its from Princess Auto. No matter what happens or what you do to it, they HAVE to take it back. Its a lifetime warranty on your winch. They have big signs all over the store saying NO SALE IS FINAL UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED. Keep the receipt and you'll be fine. Im thinking of picking it up as a rear winch even though I havent gotten a rear winch bumper bought. Its a good deal.

I'd go the other route and spend the same or a bit more on a Titan. They're (almost) local to Windsor.

Princess is awesome with returns, I dropped a hammer drill down a cliff at the cottage, we were building a staircase, just picked up the pieces and brought it back:

me - "it broke"
them - "here's a new one"

didn't even ask for a receipt
