Winch bind

Default Winch bind

So I noticed in the used winch I bought I have a bind about 30 feet in the cable how do I get that out and noticed there is a flat spot on my cable about 25 feet in is that ok or should I get a new cable

Get a synthetic cable and you will be happy and safer!

I'd go synthetic if you can afford it, or a new steel one at the minimum. I personnaly wouldn't trust it, you never know what damage is within the wire itself..

Any advice on where to get a decent one at for a good price I got a harbor freight buy 10k winch
