What is out there for our rigs that drops the winch down into the frame rails?

That is a bumper, i just want a winch mount.

 

If I remember right, you're building a custom bumper. If that's right, I'm not sure if anything on the market will work.

What I'd do (if I didn't want to build a mount) is do like the guy did who sunk his winch behind the factory bumper (can't remember his user name). I think he just used a universal Jeep type mount and mounted it underneath the frame rails. Maybe you can find the thread.

Really though, I saw the bumper you're working on, and a winch mount is relatively simple to make compared to that.

 

The Warn mount for our Jeeps will not work. I have it and it bolts on top using the frame cover and tow hook bolts. Sorry I don't have an answer that does work but I will keep an eye out.

 

Yeah i will probably build it, but i just wanted to see some pics to get a better idea.
How about the shrockworks winch mount, anybody got a pic of it?

eh, that doesn't help too much.
I want to mount a winch like the shrockworks bumpers, upright in between the rails.

Could somebody post a pic of this?
