Default winch mount plate

Does anyone know if a 2006 TJ winch mount plate will work on a JK if you drill new mounting holes? What about one of the "universal" mount plates? I don't want to replace my bumper just to mount a winch if possible. The JK winch mount plates I have seen cost almost as much as a whole bumper. Or, has anyone seen an inexpensive JK winch mount plate? I plan to buy a T-Max winch which has a 10 inch by 4.5 inch bolt pattern. Thanks.

its not going to work, without alot of fabricating.. they mount different, the TJ's mount on top the frame,

the JK's mount off the front and inner frame. not to mention the JK's a little wider than the TJ.
