Default winch mounting ?

alright, i am trying to do the hidden winch in my stock bumper. really dont have the money to buy a piece of steel that cost more than the winch itself. so i got me a 1/4" and a 3/16" plates and welded them together. drilled the holes in the frame rails to go all the way through and they are not strait. i was also told that i should add in some sort of anti-twisting support to the plate.

is adding the anti-twist support necessary and will bolts only going through the top part of the frame be strong enough for the winch?

Hi - noticed you're running the champion 10000 winch? I'm looking at the same one at my local Sams Club - What's your feedback on it - For me- it would see occasional use - thanks!
