All good recomendations and I appreciate it. Weight is somewhat of a concern because after replacing my front springs I'm really liking how it sit now. I don't want a bumper and winch dropping the nose too much. Having said this, I'm set on the JCR bumper..really like the looks of it and believe it not super heavy (I think I read 64lbs, but that was without hoop and skidplate that I'll order with it). So, keeping the winch as light as possible would give me a pretty "lightweight" setup. I think I could swing one of the lower cost winches with synthetic line like the Recon or Smitty. I do have one concern about the synthetic line...you have to protect it from UV damage?? Maybe someone could comment on this. I don't like the look of a cover but also don't want a line that'll be dangerous/useless in a year or two..
