I just got the Warn XD9000i because I wanted something with a lot of field time in use to avoid any gotchas or producer changes.

I have the EPI 9.0 superwinch in the RR Stubby bumper and love the combo. The superwinch has a better warranty than the warn:

Warn- Lifetime mechanical, 1 year electrical (including solenoid)

Superwinch- Lifetime mechanical, 3 years solenoid, 1 year other electrical

Also the superwinch has an external brake. That is nice because the internal brakes can heat up and possibly harm synthetic line.

X2, with that price difference I would go with the Warn, better longterm lifespan in my limited opinion...

I like the idea of the integrated solenoid on the Super winch it looks more rugged and better. Is their pros and cons of going integrated vs non integrated.

Mounting it in the AM so I cant offer much real world advice. But I will say this, I dont do a whole heck of a lot of wheeling myself just want it for when its needed so I went with the cheaper option the XRC 8 (actually the g/f surprised me with it) with a lifetime no questions asked warranty still came out to less then 400 clams. Sales guy says "even if ya snap a cable we will replace it no questions". I dont wanna get flamed for mentioning where I got it, I dont know if Im allowed. any questions PM me I should be mounted and ready to roll by tomorrow night. From what I hear the smittybilt is just a rebadged milemarker (I think)... not my knowledge just what I have heard.

PS I am goin with the RR stubby too, I love the look. Good luck an stay safe.
