Unhappy Winch problem

My two year old warn 9.5ti sometimes works sometimes doesn't. I dropped it off at a very trusted mechanic. He took it apart thinking maybe a contact or ground was loose. He got it to work in his shop by "hot-wiring" it. he said he's 100% sure its the remote. Has anybody had trouble like this, this winch has only been used twice. I thought by spending the extra coin on a warn I wouldn't have to deal with BS like this

Dang, that's unfortunate. I've been looking at getting this winch.... hopefully someone else can give some good feedback on the issue.

The extra coin spent is for their superior customer service. Give them a call and make good on your hard-earned money. I've heard of others who have had problems with their Warn but were taken good care of by customer service.

Well it sounds like there is nothing wrong with the winch and it is the remote.

If the remote got wet at all it will stop working.

I would call warn and I am sure they will take care of you .
