Winch Questions
What should be my main concern for new winch purchase?? Horsepower line speed, the gear reduction ratio or what.... I like the price of summit's 10,000 lb.unitand gear reduction is 218:1..... But Im not sure what is most important.......... Thanks Folks

That is the one I was going to get but Quadratec cut me a killer deal.. I got the Powerplant HP for $1249.. Free shipping... Which was only $260 more then the best deal I could get on the 9.5ti.. So I said, why not go just go for it.. So I did.. I will say this though.. It is a BEAST of a winch/onboard air.. But when it is mounted between the frame rails... It doesn't look that bad at all.... I would be mounting it tomorrow if DHL hadn't lost my bumper...

but it isnt nearly as fast as the 9.5ti or the XP. It'll get the job done
however. It weights 100 lbs, about 11 pounds more than the other winch's
