Question Which Winch and why? Thanks

Just cant seem to decide on a winch,(need to save for one, but which one is the problem). Just give me a quick answer...is it cheap, works great, good rep., ect or a combination of all. Thanks in Advanced.

Well, I just like the fact that it'd be safe for me to go deep mudding with it. You could also go with a Warn M8000, all my buddies have them on their Jeeps, and pickups.

Recon is a 10.5k winch for less money than the rest and seems to get the best reviews.

So, I am assuming you are not interested in Warn?

They are good, although not cheap.

I have only run warn and superwinch, both of which get my highest recommendation. Since warn isn't on that list I vote superwinch.

Yea thats pretty much it, although I did find one on ebay for around $550. That was an M8000, but it only has a 1 year warranty and wasnt sure if others were outperforming this winch. Although I have heard about there quality and endurance. Thanks

Thanks for the vote, I thought about changing to add Warn, but I also thought if money wasnt a choice would everyone just pick Warn? Thanks

Recon: Price:value Waterproof IP67 standard. Synth line stock. 10.5k pull rating is higher than most. Comes with remote and wire control and Aluminum hawse fairlead. It just plain looks good and Most importantly, IT works.
