Default winch without fairlead and line

I am looking to buy a winch to use the with AEV bumper. Howver I want to run synthetic line with a hawse fairlead. Can you buy a winch without the roller fairlead and line? That ought to save some money.

Not that I have ever heard, but you can definately run a roller fairlead with synthetic line without any trouble. I did it on my TJ and most of the people I wheel with do it also. It is internet rumors about problems with a roller fairlead. It won't get hung up or cause any damage. If your fairlead was tore up it probably would but you will be running a new one so I wouldn't worry.

Some places sell 'em. Here is a link to winchline.com for the Superwinch with synthetic line:

Superwinch EPi 9.0 w/ Synthetic line

I purchased this winch from Summit Racing (on a great price match opportunity ) and order my synthetic line from rockstomper.com. They have great deals on winch lines and I have ordered from them before. The total cost is about the same as from winchline and now I'll sell the brand new wire rope and roller fair lead for $50 or $100 bucks.

Yes, you can order the Warn 9500ti with the synthetic line (100') and the hawse as an upgrade. I did it through Desert Rat in Phoenix.
