Question to the group:
When I purchased my JK it had a Viper 12000 max winch mounted to the front bumper. Only the "winch" (motor and cable) were mounted.
I need to get a contactor, wiring harness and caved controller in order to get the thing working however, Viper is back logged for months on parts and get assure me that they can deliver.
My question is this: will another brand harness, contactor and controller fit the bill provided I stay with a similar winch? I'm thinking Warn VR12000 components.
My logic is that the the components I require serve nothing more than to supply 12vdc to the motor and to control the winch...
